  1. The book which I have recently read was Panchatantra. This is a really helpful and an engaging book because this book has many stories and gives a lot of moral value that one should have in his or her day to day life. The famous Panchatantra consists of interesting tales of animals, which children as well as adults would love to read. It is one of India's most influential contirbutions to world literature, it originally consisted of five books of animal fables hence it's name ; with 'Pancha' meaning five and 'Tantra' meaning the mode of action. I would highly recommend all my dear friends to read this book as this book will help us differentiate between right or wrong and give us important morals of life.

    Thank you

  2. The book i have read is 'Fantastic Mr Fox' by Roald Dahl.
This book is illustrated by Quentin Blake, which makes the book more fun tor read.

Mr Fox steals food from the horrible farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean- one fat, one short, and one lean. These three crooks concoct a plan to dig Mr Fox out of his home, but they don't realize how truly FANTASTIC Mr Fox is, or how far he'll go to save his family....

Mr. Fox. He lives with his wife and four little foxes. In order to feed his family, he steals food from the cruel, brutish farmers named Boggis, Bunce, and Bean every night.

Finally tired of being constantly outwitted by Mr. Fox, the farmers attempt to capture and kill him. The foxes escape in time by burrowing deep into the ground. The farmers decide to wait outside the hole for the foxes to emerge. Unable to leave the hole and steal food, Mr. Fox and his family begin to starve. Mr. Fox devises a plan to steal food from the farmers by tunneling into the ground and borrowing into the farmer's houses.

Aided by a friendly Badger, the animals bring the stolen food back and Mrs. Fox prepares a great celebratory banquet attended by the other starving animals and their families. Mr. Fox invites all the animals to live with him underground and says that he will provide food for them daily thanks to his underground passages. All the animals live happily and safely, while the farmers remain waiting outside in vain for Mr. Fox to show up. The rest is a adventure that makes the farmers fail at the end. Read the book to find out!

I highly recommend this book to my fellow readers since it is adventurous, action-packed, and lots of comedy pops up! This book taught me the utmost importance of family and sacrifice.

  3. I want to write a review on the book 'Dork Diaries - Frenemies Forever' by Rachel Renee Russell. It is a really good book and revolves around a dorky girl named Nikki who has to go to another school for the Student Exchange programme, and she witnesses drama while there. It interests the readers to know what is going to happen next, and it is quite humorous!

  5. The book I will be writing about is Roald Dahl and the BFG. This book is about a girl who meets a big giant at the night and thinks that it is a bad giant. Turns out it is a good giant who brings magical dreams into every person's sleep. He does not eat children. One day other giants came to the town to eat children. But the girl and the giant saved the day with their awesome plan. It is a very humorous story and also at one point of time I learnt that we should always be helpful to everyone.

  6. The Giraffe The pelly and me - Roald Dahl
This is a very funny story. It is about a boy named Billy who loves candy and sees a shop downtown which used to sell candy and every day he would imagine how nice it would be if he owned the shop. One day as he was walking he saw the words ''Sold'' written on the shop.. Later he saw that the people who sold it were a giraffe, a pelly and a monkey. They are a group of Window-Cleaning animals. They are called by the Duke of Hampshire to clean the windows of his house but they start to mess-up everything and in the end they capture a thief who stole the jewels of the Duke's wife. It is a very humorous story

  7. Percy Jackson and the Lightning thief by Rick Riordan.
This book is about a boy named Percy Jackson who has special needs. His father is Poseidon – the god of the sea. Percy is always getting into trouble and always has to switch schools. He suffers from dyslexia and ADHD, so paying attention in school is extra tough. In fact, the only topic he seems to understand really well is Ancient Greek because his father is a greek god. After he and his friend, Grover the satyr, reach Camp Half Blood, he is sent on a quest to return the god of the sky Zeus's master bolt. He meets many monsters and even some gods on the way. One point of time he was on the verge of death but he escaped it. I love this book because it is action-packed and full of adventure. It also has some humour. It is also very informative as it gives information about the greek mythology.

  8. Undercover Magic by Ellie Boswell

This book is about Sophie who is a witch and Katy who is a witch hunter. They should be the worst of enemies but they are best friends. They have to keep their powers a secret from their families if they want their friendship to last. When they find a magical book and a witch trapped in an underground library, and Sophie's grandmother goes missing, the girls use their different powers to fight off Angelica and return to Turlingham Academy. I like this book because it has many adventures about girls, who in spite of their differences are the best of friends.

  9. I would like to give a book review on my favourite book: Ambushed. This book is by Nayanika Mahtani. It is about 10 year old Tara who came to Ranibagh and realizes that a lot of tigers are in danger of being extinct because of poaching. She and her mysterious friend Satya have to do something and quick...
This book gives city people (like you and me) a glimpse of forest life and the horror of poaching. This book is not just serious, there are quite some funny moments which can make you smirk to laugh out loud! I really like it as it is a book which can be personally taken. So I rate 5 stars for this book.

  10. MAIREEN ASHFAQ(8M)
HARRY POTTER AND CHAMBER OF SECRETS book review
" you'd better hope creevey doesn't meet ginny or they'll be starting a harry potter fan club"
I chose to read this book as it's more than a story about wizards and witches. Dobby, the house elf has influenced me the most as he is working for the malfoys and still tries to save harry's life
putting his life in risk. a line said by dumbledore has touched ,me the most which is, "It's our choices harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our capabilities. the character that i would like to change in this book is gilderoy lockhart as he is a writer and writes fake stories of himself helping other and saving their life. he also publishes those books trying to prove himself as a real hero.

  12. GERORGE'S MARVELLOUS MEDICINE
    BY ROALD DAHL

This tale tells us about George who is 8 years old, and his desire is to transform his grumpy old grandma.

Thanks to George's mischievous idea, his marvellous medicine does the trick. But not in the way he expected …

I absolutely loved the book, and when I read it I bursted into laughter.

My favourite character was George because he was very inventive and brave in making the marvellous medicine.

My least favourite character was Grandma because she was obnoxious, cruel, disrespectful, selfish, and grumpy to George. Poor George was left alone with his awful and selfish grandma who ordered him about.

The miserable old grouch commanded George to go fetch her tea, give her medicine and she forced him to eat cabbage (and George hates cabbage) but what is worse is that she tried to force him to eat crunchy, creepy crawlies (bugs and snails), with the cabbage.

I would highly recommend this book because it was amazing and extra ordinary and it has easy words to understand .

The way the writer wrote was hilarious and he put in some random funny things that didn't exist and could never happen, such as the transformation of the animals.

I think he should have made the book longer, because it would have been better.

What surprised me most was how the animals transformed!

I would love to read more of Roald Dahl's books because they are so funny and entertaining.

Out of what I have read from this book, I think that I will give it 4 stars.
