“Stop hating yourself for everything you aren’t and start loving yourself for everything you are.”
ReplyDeleteI believe that when you find love for yourself you have more love to give others.
Practicing self-love is better for our own well-being. There’s a saying that “If you want to love others, you should love yourself first.” The way we feel about ourselves has a major impact on the relationships we form and how we view them.
When we have low self-esteem we tend to feel less optimistic about the future. When we don’t feel good about ourselves it’s hard to believe that someone else could feel good about us. That love really does start with you.
We are all worthy of self-love and self-acceptance. And it’s really important that we work on that. Ultimately, learning to value yourself allows you to see that you also deserve to be valued by others. You won’t force yourself to remain in an unhappy situation because you’ll know that you really do deserve better.
I would like to end this writing with a beautiful thought, “Love makes the world a better place. And it all starts with me. I will make self-love a priority.”
Poem: Human Heart
ReplyDeleteA human heart
Takes part
In various activities
It feels emotions
With various notions
About the person it resides in
The heart feels love
A gift from above
A heavenly feeling
The heart feels hatred, and jealousy
These evil melodies
hurt the feelings so sensitive
The human heart can sink into evil
Or fly to the good
Its the brain who decides
The human heart
A lovely part
Of our extravagant, smart body.

ReplyDelete"Money can't buy Happiness"
ReplyDeleteMoney is very important for survival especially for all our essential requirements. It is equally important to satisfy our dreams and desires such as travelling, shopping, etc. Many people believe that money can buy everything, including happiness. But I sincerely feel that most of the best things in life cost nothing and cannot be bought with money such as health, love, friendship, respect, morals and most importantly common sense.
I would like to conclude with some commonly heard phrases:
'Money can buy a bed, but not sleep.'
'Money can buy food, but not your appetite.'
'Money can buy a house, but not a home.'
I wrote a poem for my mother during Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteThis is the poem:
Mother's day
Dear Mother,
You have always been there for us,
So for once let us be there for you.
Dear Mother,
You always catch us when we fall,
So in turn, fall whenever you want and we will catch you.
Dear Mother,
How do you do it all? You are a teacher, cook, nurse ad many more.
I found out how you do it, It was LOVE.
So now take more love from us than we got from you.
Happy Mother's Day!!
