ReplyDeleteWhat is Artificial Intelligence? Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem-solving.
At least since the first century BCE, humans have been intrigued by the possibility of creating machines that mimic the human brain. In modern times, the term artificial intelligence was coined in 1955 by John McCarthy. In 1956, McCarthy and others organized a conference titled the “Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial Intelligence.” This beginning led to the creation of machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, and now to prescriptive analytics. Artificial intelligence has become very important in our daily lives. Artificial intelligence has many goals namely reasoning, robotics, machine learning, computer vision, etc. Artificial intelligence is the main key to developing our future.
When you hear the word artificial intelligence, what is the first word that comes into your mind? Robots. Yes, Robots are very important for making our future as Robotic technology influences every aspect of work and home. Robots have the potential to positively transform lives and work practices, raise efficiency and safety levels, and provide enhanced levels of service. Artificial intelligence takes the world to the next level.
Why do we need artificial intelligence? Today, the amount of data that is generated, by both humans and machines, far outpaces humans’ ability to absorb, interpret, and make complex decisions based on that data. Artificial intelligence forms the basis for all computer learning and is the future of all complex decision making. We need artificial intelligence (AI) because the work that we need to do is increasing day-to-day.
So, let’s look into the future. Let’s forget the past and move ahead. I would like to end this piece of information by a quote by a wise man, “The best way to predict the future is to invent it”.
