A past filled with colours,
ReplyDeleteFiery red, sorrowful blue, happy and warm yellow.
The memories still pictured in my brain.
Those times when I was in pain,
The times when I was a jewel in the crown
And times when I was a flame in the fire.
A present filled with opportunities,
Doors and locks to open with keys.
Stepping in a world of adventure,
A world of fantasy!
But, the first place I would step,
Is AHEAD, which leads me to the future.
Tomorrow. A time of wonder, a time of curiosity.
What would happen next, nobody knows.
No matter what it is,
I will step Ahead I will, let go of the pain
I’ve suffered, cherish the memories of my victories.
Forget the moments when I was in a blur, remember the times of my pride.
I am motivated, I am uplifted!
Don’t know where it leads me, don’t know where I would go
But I know I will step into a great future. Tomorrow.
STEPPING AHEAD. -Rinaaz Sulthana

ReplyDeleteThere's a little hope
ReplyDeleteFor us to change
And not the climate
World leaders stress on this
Greta Thunberg even cried
To show what the consequences of climate change can be...
Earth provides
We should too
And we should show respect to Earth
Our elders lived in harmony
While we live in an era of environmental destruction
Industrial Areas send a heap of smog to earth as a gift
Its really a gift of destruction
Our Earth cries
Our Earth dies
We grow stronger
And we don't provide
Kindness
ReplyDeleteSpread a little kindness,
everywhere you go,
let that little kindness,
from your heart flow.
A cup of water timely brought,
an offered easy chair,
a turning of the window-blind sought,
to all those who feel the air.
Kind hearts are the gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the blossoms,
Kind deeds are the fruits.
An early flower bestowed unasked,
a light and cautious tread,
a voice to the softest whispers hushed,
to spare an aching head.
Love in the sweet sunshine,
that warms into life,
for only in darkness we whine,
grows hatred and strife.
Oh, things like these,
these little things,
puts us at ease,
and to us adds wings.
The purest love disclose,
as fragrant atoms in the air,
reveal the hidden rose,
kindness is here and kindness is there.
